MARS, Pa.—Mars Mineral has hired Rob Czukor as a business development consultant for the North American tire-derived carbon black market.
Czukor, who is also president of Tire Recycling Consultants L.L.C., brings 25 years of experience to helping scrap tire processors throughout the U.S. and Canada, Mars Mineral said. He founded Tire Recycling Consultants in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. His firm works with a wide range of corporate clients engaged in recycling used tires. It also helps states that want to improve the efficiency of their scrap tire collection and processing programs.
“Rob's success in diverting the flow of scrap tires from incineration and landfill disposal to recycling and re-use gives him the ability to help used tire processors make informed decisions about waste handling,” Mars General Manager Craig Vaughan said in a statement.
Mars Mineral manufactures agitation agglomeration pelletizing equipment and systems that convert dusts or fine powders into pellets used in manufacturing, processing, and agricultural environments. It operates a 45,000-sq.-ft. production facility in Mars, near Pittsburgh.
The firm is a division of Woodword Inc., which designs, fabricates and assembles ferrous and non-ferrous metal products used in bulk materials processing and storage applications.
