AKRON—Show management is looking to open up additional booths for the upcoming International Tire Exhibition & Conference in September in Akron.
With just two booths remaining in the ITEC exhibit hall, show organizers are starting a waiting list for 10 x 10 foot booths as it works to increase exhibit space, according to Brent Weaver, sales manager for Rubber & Plastics News, which conducts the biennial event.
“We're very pleased with the response to ITEC 2016,” Weaver said. “Many of our exhibitors have been on the floor since the early ITECs and wouldn't miss the chance to network with our attendees.”
He added that this year's ITEC also has attracted a number of new exhibitors, who make up more than 20 percent of firms reserving exhibit space. “Exhibitors and attendees tell us that ITEC is the perfect size—big enough to draw key people and companies, yet just right for networking in the exhibit hall and conference sessions,” Weaver said.
The two booths left are a 20 x 20 foot and a 20 x 30 foot, and each space includes technical program and corporate sponsorships, respectively.
To be put on a waiting list for the 10 x 10 booths and learn about all available options, contact Weaver at 330-865-6119 or [email protected], or Pete McNeil, sales representative, at 330-865-6109 or [email protected].
ITEC 2016 will be held Sept. 13-15 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron. For more information, including on registration and the conference program, visit the ITEC website.
