INDIANAPOLIS—Blair Rubber Co. will host members of the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers for a plant tour from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 12 its Seville facility in Northeast Ohio.
According to the ARPM, customers and vendors will see first-hand how products are made at Blair Rubber, which manufactures corrosion-resistant rubber tank linings. Attendees will be given guided access to the production facilities and company operations.
Blair Rubber employees will lead the tour, which will include a look at rubber lining procedures, curing methods, repair methods and inspection processes, as well as a question-and-answer session with Blair's technical staff.
Blair Rubber will highlight the theme of the ARPM conference, Perseverance—The Secret of All Success, said Gregg Reinmann, quality assurance manager at Blair Rubber.
“Throughout the tour, Blair plans to share our culture and our values,” Reinmann said in a statement. “We believe these are our foundation of perseverance. The acronym for our values is ‘SILPHA:' Share knowledge, Integrity, Long-term thinking, Performance, Humility and Agility.”
During this plant tour, executives from ARPM member companies and guests will hear Blair's team approach to winning business and maintaining customers.
“We can only hope to energize the participants to view their work relationships as important foundations for success,” Reinmann said. “We also hope they seek out and leverage whatever values drive their company, to assure perseverance in the marketplace.”
