AKRON—VMI Group once again is serving as corporate sponsor of the International Tire Exhibition & Conference.

The 2016 event will be held Sept. 13-15 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron.

VMI has been involved with ITEC since the first ITEC conference. Corporate sponsors help make the complimentary lunch and networking reception possible, which are features that other conferences have eliminated.

The technical program sponsors support the conference programming. This year these sponsors so far include Central Marketing, CimCorp Automation, HF Rubber Machinery, McNeil & NRM and Mesnac Americas.

Another longtime supporter of ITEC is the Poling Group, who is returning as sponsor of the Internet Cafe and refreshments. Also returning as a sponsor is Himile, who this year is providing tote bags for all attendees.

ExxonMobil, a new sponsor, is providing the lanyards.

Learn more about the ITEC program, exhibit and sponsorships on the website. Early bird registration is still available for the event.

The Poling Group is again providing internet access to all attendees in ITEC's Internet Cafe.

ITEC also features three days of conference programming, which is available by clicking here.

In addition to the conference and exhibition, a Tire Mechanics Short Course will be held in conjunction with ITEC. The five-day course is designed for chemists, engineers and scientists. It involves an in-depth study of the developments surrounding tire engineering and those completing the course will receive a certificate from the University of Akron.

More information about the Tire Mechanics Short Course can be found here.
