TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.—Omni United USA has rolled out a broad-line value passenger tire under the Patriot brand.
The company called its new Patriot RB-1, which will hit stores at the end of the month, “the perfect combination of Radar brand quality and a budget-pleasing price tag.” The tires are designed to handle well in year-round weather conditions, Omni said, while providing stability and a comfortable quiet ride.
“This new brand is targeted at customers who want a tire that is reliable, stylish and affordable,” said GS Sareen, founder and CEO of Omni United.
Omni said the Patriot RB-1, produced in Thailand, features an asymmetrical tread pattern that helps aid the tire's performance and treadwear. Lightweight construction helps reduce rolling resistance, while wide circumferential grooves enhance resistance to hydroplaning, according to the company, which is a subsidiary of Singapore-based international tire distributor Omni United Pte. Ltd.
