ITEC features 80 exhibitors, educational opportunities

    AKRON—More than 80 companies will be on hand as exhibitors at the 2016 International Tire Exhibition & Conference.

    The event will be held Sept. 13-15 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron.

    Exhibitors are coming from 22 states across the U.S. and throughout the world for this tire manufacturing event. Companies based in Netherlands, Germany, Italy, China, France, Finland, Canada and Czechoslovakia will be represented.

    The VMI Group, a corporate sponsor which has been at every ITEC since the event began, will be on hand again along with other industry leaders, including HF Rubber Machinery, Central Marketing, Cimcorp Automation, McNeil & NRM, Mesnac, Netzsch Instruments and Standards Testing Labs.

    The Poling Group is again providing internet access to all attendees in ITEC's Internet Cafe.

    ITEC also features three days of conference programming, which is available by clicking here.

    In addition to the conference and exhibition, a Tire Mechanics Short Course will be held in conjunction with ITEC. The five-day course is designed for chemists, engineers and scientists. It involves an in-depth study of the developments surrounding tire engineering and those completing the course will receive a certificate from the University of Akron.
