INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—Submissions for the Association of Rubber Products Manufacturers second annual Safety Awards will be accepted through May 18. The awards will be presented in Columbus, Ohio, during the Environmental, Health and Safety Summit planned for June 9-10 at the offices of the law firm Ice Miller.
According to a release issued by ARPM, the awards are based on the OSHA Log or Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses submitted by each company.
“ARPM is proud to celebrate our members' safety records,” ARPM Managing Director Letha Keslar said in the release. “The Safety Awards Program is a way for ARPM to recognize the importance of safety in the rubber industry and for those facilities that have achieved a level of safety performance over and above the industry average.”
