Dayco Products has launched a new line of belts.

TROY, Mich.—Dayco Products L.L.C. has expanded into the general industrial and agriculture markets with the launch of its new line of belts.

The aftermarket belts were introduced to customers during Agrishow 2016, one of the largest agriculture-focused tradeshows in the world, held April 25-29 in Sao Paulo, Dayco said in a news release.

The agriculture belts are designed for application-specific requirements with proven performance in the laboratory and during field testing, developed to meet ISO 9001 specifications.

“We were optimistic about the belt launch at Agrishow 2016 given the performance of the agriculture and industrial markets in South America,” Joao Ramon, president of Dayco in South America, said in a statement. The executive added that South America accounts for more than 50 percent of soybean production worldwide.

Dayco's industrial belt line was launched in December in South America, ranging from low horsepower machinery to high output equipment. The firm says the line covers nearly all applications that use belts to transmit power in the general industrial, fleet, mining, construction, lawn and garden, and oil field industries.

“Dayco is well positioned to leverage its existing customer relationships and brand strength as well as its global manufacturing and technical capabilities to grow our industrial presence worldwide,” Dayco CEO John Bohenick said in a statement.

In a separate release, Dayco revealed a new tagline: “Move Forward. Always.” A company spokesman said the tagline exemplifies the firm's mission always to improve the way the world moves.
