QUINCY, Ill.—Titan International Inc. has promoted John Hrudicka to senior vice president of North American Tire.
He joined Titan in February 2014 as CFO, succeeding Paul Reitz, who was promoted to president at that time, filling position that had been open since 2005 when Titan Chairman and CEO Maurice Taylor Jr. vacated it.
Prior to 2014, Hrudicka was CFO for Elkay Manufacturing and also worked for Motorola, 3Com and Baxter Healthcare in finance and operations executive leadership roles.
Titan did not elaborate on what his duties will be as vice president, but Hrudicka told analysts in a conference call May 5 that he plans to present Reitz with a plan "comprising my ideas, thoughts and strategy and how to move forward in this new business leadership role" in about six to eight weeks, after "spending a lot of time at the plant with sales, marketing and other business functions, listening and learning as much as I can about the business and operation."
The company's board named James M. Froisland as interim CFO. Froisland has had extensive experience as a chief financial officer, chief information officer, chief operating officer, corporate secretary and board member for both domestic and international public and private equity owned companies, according to Titan.
Froisland will serve Titan temporarily while the company conducts a search for a permanent CFO, the firm said.
