BOSTON—Cabot Corp. has named Hobart Kalkstein as senior vice president and president of the firm's Reinforcement Materials segment, effective immediately.
The firm also appointed Jay Doubman to succeed Kalkstein as senior vice president, corporate strategy and development. Both executives will report to President and CEO Sean Keohane.
Kalkstein joined Cabot in 2005, holding several key management positions. Prior to serving as senior vice president, corporate strategy and development, Cabot said Kalkstein served as general manager of global emission control solutions for the Purification Solutions segment and vice president of global business operations, in addition to other key roles.
Prior to joining Cabot, the firm said Kalkstein worked for Boston Consulting Group.
Doubman joined Cabot in 2006 and most recently served as vice president and general manager of the tire and elastomer composites product lines within the firm's Reinforcement Materials segment. He also has served as the vice president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for the Reinforcement Materials segment, director of corporate strategy, and commercial director for Cabot's inkjet business.
Prior to joining Cabot, Doubman worked for Saint-Gobain S.A. as well as Bain and Co.
