BOWIE, Md.—May 2 is the deadline for qualified individuals to submit nominations for the 2016-17 Tire Industry Association Board of Directors.
Any TIA member in good standing, or any official representative of an industry association, may recommend qualified candidates to the nominating committee in order with TIA bylaws, according to a TIA press release.
TIA board members must be employed by a TIA member company in good standing with the association for two years prior to the election, the association said. This includes tire manufacturers, tire dealers, wholesale distributors, suppliers, recyclers and retreaders.
Candidates who meet these criteria may nominate themselves, TIA said. TIA directors may serve up to three three-year terms, it said.
Nomination forms may be found on the TIA website. For more information, contact Donna Sage at [email protected].
