WOODLANDS, Texas—Huntsman Corp.'s wholly owned subsidiary Tecnoelastomeri S.r.l. has joined the Polyurethane Manufacturers Association, which it said demonstrates the company's commitment to the Americas market with advanced elastomer systems based on methylene diphenyl diisocyanate technology.
Huntsman Tecnoelastomeri is a manufacturer and marketer of MDI-based hot cast elastomer systems and processing machines. Hot cast polyurethanes are used in many downstream applications, including wheels, rolls, technical parts and seals.
Huntsman acquired Tecnoelastomeri in June 2015. “Joining the Polyurethane Manufacturers Association will enable us to extend the reach of our versatile and superior performance MDI-based elastomers in the Americas,” according to Riccardo Cira, global commercial and marketing manager for Huntsman Tecnoelastomeri.
