LONDON—A senior research executive at Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd., Kazaburo Nakaseko, will discuss recent advances in environmentally friendly tire materials technology at the Future Tire Conference 2016, May 24-25 in Essen, Germany.
Kazaburo Nakaseko's presentation on the 25th will be part of the Future Tire Technology & Materials Forum and will investigate the development of 100-percent fossil free tires as well as nano-scale material simulation for polymer development.
Future Tire Conference 2016 is organized by European Rubber Journal, a sister publication of Rubber & Plastics News. It will be held concurrently with Reifen 2016/RubberTech Europe May 24-27 in Essen.

Nakaseko has been with Sumitomo Rubber since the late 1970s, joining the Kobe, Japan-based company as a specialist in tire structure design, engaged in tire development.
In 2006, he became an executive officer and went to Goodyear Dunlop Tires Europe, serving as a member of the board. In 2008, he became the head of research and development and since 2010 has been the senior executive officer.
He has been president of the Society of Rubber Science and Technology in Japan since 2015.
