NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Bridgestone Americas has hired Luis Solana as vice president of logistics and supply chain management, a position previously held by John McLaughlin, who recently announced plans to retire.
Luis joins Bridgestone from Coty Inc., a multi-billion dollar beauty company. During his tenure there, he primarily was vice president, global supply chain.
He previously held leadership positions with Colgate-Palmolive Co. and Excel Logistics (now DHL Supply Chain).
“Luis is a great addition to the Bridgestone team, and his strategic leadership will take our supply chain organization to the next level,” said TJ Higgins, president, integrated consumer tire group, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.
McLaughlin joined Bridgestone in 1999 and has been in his current position since March 2013.
