Bluestar Silicones has launched Lyndcoat BR2430, a new semi-permanent inside paint and bladder coating.
The company said the product offers a semi-permanent inside paint and bladder coating with improved properties, improving performance while attaining bladder protection, slip and air bleed promotion.
Bluestar said Lyndcoat BR2430 enables a decrease in direct and indirect operating costs related to tire curing, achieving low defect rates. The company claims the product offers high air evacuation promotion and rub-off resistance, while greatly reducing buckled and pinched bladder defects and favors curing of perfectly symmetrical tires.
Bluestar said Lyndcoat BR2430 was developed to ensure durable release between tire and bladder, has low odor and is easy to spray. It is colorless and fully transparent when dry and does not present any oily surface aspect.
The firm said Lyndcoat BR2430 allows for strongly reduced build-up on bladder and metal parts of the mold, allowing for highly reduced mold pollution. The company said the product delivers high performance with reduced coat weight. Passenger car tires may be coated with as little as 4-10 grams wet weight of Lyndcoat BR2430, the company claimed.
