BETHESDA, Md.—The Auto Care Association has released the first of a series of animated Technology Minute Videos demonstrating the ACA's technology standards and best practices.
The 60-second videos will foster awareness and understanding of the ACA standards by presenting them in simple, approachable terms appropriate for multiple audiences, the association said.
Each video covers one component of the ACA's technology standards, providing a brief introduction, a summary of what the component does and an explanation of how it works with the other standards in the technology suite, the ACA said.
The first video concerns the Product Information Exchange Standard, which the ACA called “the best practice for the management and exchange of product information data in the auto care industry.” Upcoming videos will cover the Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard, the Product Attribute Database and the Aftermarket Brand Table, the ACA said.
The videos will be released in Auto CarE-news and the ACA's social media channels, the association said. They also will be available on the ACA's YouTube channel and here.
