FRANKFURT, Germany—Tristone Flowtech Group has been awarded a significant contract to produce and supply fluid engine and battery cooling systems for a large original equipment manufacturer.
The pact is expected to bring in about $45 million annually. Tristone estimated that the contract total would be close to $260 million for the life of the pact. The company did give the name of the OEM,
Deliveries of the systems, which include engine cooling hose and plastic pipes, likely will begin at the end of 2018.
Tristone will manufacture the systems at its plants in Mexico, China and Poland for the North American, Asian and European markets. The systems will be used on passenger cars.
“Our global footprint, our technical competence in engine and batter cooling applications as well as our high quality and delivery performance has been key to convince our customer that Tristone Group is the right partner to supply this global platform with its high volume,” Gunter Frolich, president and CEO of the group, said in a statement.
Based in Frankfurt, Tristone Flowtech specializes in fluid applications for motor and battery cooling as well as air charge and air intake systems.
