BETHESDA, Md.—The Adhesive and Sealant Council will embark on a five-stop university tour in 2016.
The new program is part of the ASC's long range plan, designed to showcase the industry to perspective employees at leading universities and colleges that focus on adhesives and sealants within their curriculum, the association said in a news release.
ASC partnered with the Adhesion Society on the tour. Dates and times will be unveiled at a later date, but the tour will stop at the following schools:
• Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University;
• Johns Hopkins University;
• Lehigh University;
• University of Akron; and
• Northwestern University.
ASC is a North American trade association with 138 adhesive and sealant manufacturers, raw material and equipment suppliers, distributors, and industry consultants. The association said it represents more than 75 percent of the U.S. industry with operations around the world.
