CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Carlisle Co. Inc. reported net sales of $876.2 million for the fourth quarter and net sales of $3.54 billion for the full year 2015, both an 11 percent increase compared to 2014, during its financial presentation on Feb. 4.
The firm's Construction Materials segment—which produces EPDM and thermoplastic polyolefin roofing membranes among other roofing and construction related materials—achieved record net sales of $2 billion, a 3.5 percent increase compared to 2014. Carlisle said CCM was resolute in maintaining selling price discipline in a lower raw material cost environment, leading to higher margin levels.
Carlisle added that the outlook in commercial construction in the U.S. remains positive, and it intends to remain selling price disciplined. It expects another solid performance out of the segment for 2016.
For the quarter, CCM reported a 4.4 percent increase in net sales to $483.6 million. The firm said the figure reflected organic net sales growth of 6 percent, offset by the negative impact of foreign exchange fluctuations of 1.6 percent.
