NOVI, Mich.—Cooper Standard Automotive Inc. has promoted Sharon S. Wenzl to senior vice president, corporate communications and community affairs, an executive officer.
She oversees the corporate communications function and leads the firm's community affairs, also overseeing the Cooper Standard Foundation
The firm said that prior to joining Cooper Standard in 2007, she held several executive positions in the automotive industry. Wenzl served as senior vice president, global human resources and communications for Tower Automotive and held various positions of increasing responsibility at Freudenberg-NOK, including vice president of human resources and communications, director of corporate relations, director of corporate communications and manager of advertising and sales promotion.
