LOVELAND, Ohio—Cold Jet has acquired IceTech, a manufacturer of high performance and reliable dry ice blasting and dry ice production equipment.
The transaction closed on Jan. 13 in Copenhagen, Denmark, which is where IceTech was founded in 1998. Cold Jet is based in Loveland and develops dry ice cleaning and dry ice production solutions.
Cold Jet said in a Jan. 14 release that the firm's are untied by common business initiatives, bringing together two leading dry ice technology developers. Both companies launched new dry ice blasting product lines in 2015 and strengthened their global reach through new distributor partnerships.
Collectively, the two firms operate facilities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Spain, Japan and China.
“IceTech brings in a versatile dry ice technology portfolio and an established global customer base,” Gene Cooke III, Cold Jet president and CEO, said in a statement.
