ANN ARBOR, Mich.—The Center for Automotive Research has named David Andrea executive vice president of research.
Andrea helped form the nonprofit in 2003, serving as chief financial officer and director of forecasting. He succeeds Sean McAlinden, who took on a new role as vice president for strategic studies in the fall of 2015.
Andrea previously served as senior vice president and chief economist for the Original Equipment Suppliers Association. He's held a variety of roles in his 30-year automotive industry career, including director of forecasting at AutoPacific, automotive equity analyst at Roney & Co., and chief economist at CSM Worldwide.
