LA MIRADA, Calif.—BASF Kaolin has named E.T. Horn Co., a North American premier distributor of specialty ingredients, chemicals and raw materials, as Global Distributor of the Year.
By winning the BASF Kaolin Regional Distributor of the Year award in the Americas, Horn said it has became a contender for the inaugural global distributor recognition, and it won the award by a unanimous vote.
“Our kaolin distributors are key to our success and deserve a special recognition for their outstanding contribution,” Jan Jeffries, sales director, BASF Kaolin Americas, said in a statement.
“By continually delivering results and displaying transparency throughout the year, Horn was selected among our top kaolin distributors for their achievements.”
Horn's regional recognition from BASF Kaolin occurred from 2001, 2004-07, 2011 and 2013-14. In addition, Horn has been representing BASF Kaolin in the western U.S. for more than 25 years and has a longstanding partnership with the BASF Corp. for more than 45 years.
