HOUSTON—A purchasing executive from General Motors will deliver the keynote address at the Annual General Meeting of the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, scheduled for April 11-14 in New Orleans.
Wade Sheffer, executive director of General Motors Chassis Purchasing, will speak on “Synthetic Rubber in the Supply Chain” during the April 13 session. The April 14 program will include a presentation on “Technology Trends in the Transportation/Tire Industry” by Steve Charles, vice president of product development for Bridgestone Americas Inc.

The association's corporate members are located in 20 countries and account for about 80 percent of the world's supply of SR.
