HOUSTON—Paul Myers has been appointed U.S. Zinc Corp.'s distribution manager, a newly created position focused on overseeing key distribution relationships.
Myers is a 37-year rubber and chemical industry veteran, U.S. Zinc said, and previously served as U.S. Zinc's sales lead for the Midwest. He was responsible for zinc oxide sales to the rubber, plastics, coatings, adhesive and agriculture industries.
U.S. Zinc is headquartered in Houston and manufactures, recycles and supplies zinc oxide, zinc dust, zinc metal and zinc fines. The firm operates plants in North America, South America and Asia. It is a subsidiary of Brazil-based Votorantim Metais.
