BERWYN, Pa.—John Feenan, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Trinseo, has decided to leave the company on Dec. 31.
A Nov. 18 news release said Feenan is leaving to peruse other opportunities. President and CEO Christopher Pappas will serve as interim CFO effective immediately, while Feenan will continue to assist the Trinseo in an advisory capacity for the remainder of 2015.
“John has made substantial contributions to Trinseo during his four years as CFO, building a strong finance,” said Pappas.
Trinseo recently underwent a major reshuffling in October with the opening of a new chief operating officer's role and the managers moving across businesses.
The changes included the appointment of Samer al Jabi as the new global business director, synthetic rubber to replace Francesca Reverberi who is now the global business director for the newly created basic plastics business.
