CLEVELAND—Harry Whitehead, process engineer at Grand River Rubber and Plastics, won the 1997 Harley Davidson Super Glide, an 80 cylinder, v-twin, four-stroke, 55 horsepower motorcycle, at this year's International Elastomer Conference.
Gretchen Cermak, marketing manager for the ACS Rubber Division, pulled the winning entry in Hexpol A.B.'s Harley Davidson giveaway at the Cleveland Convention Center. The drawing was held at the Hexpol booth.
Hexpol also hosted “A Taste of Cleveland” to kick off the Rubber Expo on the first night. The firm said more than 400 guests attended and sampled popular Cleveland foods, including pierogies, walleye and bratwurst.
