THE WOODLANDS, Texas—Huntsman Corp. has named Chad Anderson site director for its operation in Port Neches, Texas.
Anderson joined Huntsman in 2003 as a C4 butadiene plant six sigma black belt, the firm said. He was promoted to operations manager for the F4 and F6 ethylene oxide unites, G5/G6 ethylene glycol units and receiving and shipping.
He was promoted to senior manager, engineering works in 2011, responsible for all Port Neches site engineering, capital project execution, maintenance and reliability. He brings more than 20 years of chemical manufacturing experience in technical and management roles at Equistar, Akzo Nobel and Huntsman with site leadership at Arkema and Lucite.
Based in the Woodlands, Huntsman is a global manufacturer of differentiated chemicals with 2014 revenues of about $14 billion.
