GREENVILLE, S.C.—Michelin North America Inc. has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross in support of flood-relief efforts under way in South Carolina.
“Because of the hard work and dedication of the people who live and work across South Carolina, Michelin has become one of the largest private employers in the state," said Pete Selleck, chairman and president of Michelin.
"Like so many others in the midlands and the low country, the lives of Michelin families have been uprooted by the recent floods.
“We are deeply moved by the devastating images and accounts from the past week. Michelin's donation to American Red Cross is an effort to help all the families touched by the floods start the long process of rebuilding.”
