LYON, France—Bluestar Silicones International has signed an agreement with Grasim Industries Ltd. for the distribution of its full range of silicone products.
Grasim Industries is a flagship company of Aditya Birla Chemicals Group, a chemical manufacturer in India.
With this partnership, Bluestar said Aditya Birla Chemicals becomes a major distributor for the company in India, offering the full range of the group's silicone products for the Indian markets.
“Our cooperation with Grasim Industries, an Aditya Birla Group company and a leading chemical player involved in diverse markets, is a huge step forward toward strengthening Bluestar Silicones presence in this emerging market,” Frederic Jacquin, CEO of Bluestar Silicones, said in a statement.
“The local customers will have fast responses about our innovative products and full technical support from the large network coverage of Aditya Birla Group.”
This project unites a leading chemical manufacturer in India with key positions in many fields with one of the worldwide leaders in silicones, Bluestar said. Leveraging this union will bring benefits to its Indian customers and give them easy access to the unique properties of silicone technology, the company claimed.
