EVANSVILLE, Ind.—Ace Extrusion L.L.C. has purchased the extrusion division of Uniseal Inc. and added another manufacturing facility to boost its capabilities, technology and product portfolio.
Its purchase of Uniseal's extrusion division expands Ace's product offerings of cured dense and closed-cell sponge extrusions to include extruded sealants and adhesives for the automotive, construction, appliance, power supply, heavy truck, and telecommunications industries.
Ace's new plant, the firm's second in Evansville, spans about 90,000 square feet. The facility will house, among other units, mixing and formulating operations and a quality control department committed to ISO and TS standards, the extruded rubber product producer said. It also said it is hiring additional personnel.
“We are tremendously excited about the growth of Ace Extrusion and we are extremely thankful for the partnerships that have been formed over the past 10 years to allow us to grow as a company, offer more to our customers/partners, and allow us to expand our team and operations in Evansville,” Ace President Brandon Robards said.
