KERNERSVILLE, N.C.—United Distribution Group's GHX Industrial subsidiary has acquired the assets and operations of Anchor Industrial Sales Inc.
Based in Kernersville, Anchor is a distributor of gaskets and fluid sealing products that operates out of a 12,600-sq.-ft. facility. Its manufacturing partners include Flexitallic, Garlock and Sepco.
GHX said Anchor's former owner, John Raczenski, will remain with the company. Raczenski said in a statement that he and the Anchor team are excited to join the GHX family of companies.
“GHX welcomes the Anchor team to our organization,” GHX President Richard Harrison said in the release. “Their culture of providing great service and building strong customer relationships in the Eastern region of the U.S. continues to strengthen the GHX portfolio and will further expand our footprint for national account opportunities with the chemical industry and original equipment customers.”
Headquartered in Houston, GHX provides gaskets, hoses and other products to a variety of industries—including refining and petrochemical, upstream oil and gas, power generation, mining, agriculture, and marine enterprises. The firm operates 61 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The United Distribution Group consists of 81 locations in North America.
