KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.—Four speakers will make presentations at the MidAtlantic Rubber & Plastic Group fall technical meeting.
The meeting will be held Sept. 24 at the DoubleTree Hotel on West DeKalb Road in King of Prussia. The program beings at 2:30 p.m., with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres to follow.
Madhu Namani of TA Instruments will start the program with his talk titled, “Using Rubber Process Analyzer for Characterization of Polymers.” Louis Elrod, Paul McDaniel and Matthew Maki of Intertek will follow with a presentation, “PVT Capabilities for Petroleum Materials' Integrity” at 3 p.m.
Bonnie Struck of Akron Rubber Development Laboratories Inc. will give a talk called “Effect of Different Nitrile Elastomers in Down Hole Drilling Applications with a Review of Testing and Failure Analysis.” The program culminates at 4 with Amy Howell of Greene Tweed presenting, “Quality Design Mode Effect Analysis and Risk Mitigation.”
Cost of the event is $20 per person. Reservation deadline is Sept. 22.
