R.E. Carroll acquires distributor

EWING, N.J.—R.E. Carroll Inc. has acquired specialty chemicals distributor JH Calo Co. based in Westbury, N.Y.

JH Calo will operate as a division of R.E. Carroll, according to an Aug. 17 press release. JH Calo serves the coatings, fragrance and personal care industries.

R.E. Carroll, based in Ewing, distributes raw materials and petroleum products used in the adhesives and sealants, coatings, plastics, and rubber industries. The firm operates warehouses in Chicago; Dallas; Dalton, Ga.; Ewing; Fullerton, Calif.; and Kent, Ohio.
