MARS, Pa.—Mars Mineral, a division of Woodward Inc., has hired Matt Pisani as project manager.
Pisani has held management and sales engineering positions with Heyl & Patterson, Alstom Power Conversion and Draeger Safety. Mars said he is a senior-level engineer.
“Matt's technical expertise and business experience will help us to strengthen relationships with established customers and cultivate new business opportunities,” Woodward President Clayton Woodward said in a news release.
Mars mineral manufactures agitation pelletizing equipment and systems that converts dusts, fines and powders into pellets used in manufacturing, processing and agricultural environment. The firm's pellets are used in plastics and rubber, ceramics, clay, energy, glass, dust, industrial and agricultural chemicals, lime and cement, manure, metals, minerals, pigments and coatings, process chemicals, pulp and paper, steel, stone, and thermal depolymerization.
The company operates out of a 45,000-sq.-ft. facility based in Mars, which is near Pittsburgh.
