CEDAR Rapids, Iowa—Apache Inc. plans to open a production and distribution facility in Dallas to better support its customer base in the South.
Spanning more than 20,000 square feet, the new plant will have heavy duty and lightweight belting, hose products, and cut and molded parts.
The facility is expected to open at the end of August.
“Today we are heavily concentrated in the Midwest, and this will allow us to more effectively and efficiently reach our customers in the Southern states,” CEO Tom Pientok said in a news release.
He noted that lead time is important and “an enhanced logistics model allows us to help our customers better serve their customers.”
A manufacturer of seals and molded goods and a fabricator of belts, hose and various other goods, Apache has locations spread across the U.S. It sells worldwide through distributors and to retailers and original equipment manufacturers.
