CHARLOTTE, N.C.—The Polyurethane Manufacturers Association is getting bigger.
In the last four years the organization has grown steadily, and as of the start of its most recent meeting held in Charlotte, N.C., the PMA had 145 members registered, which is up from 134 last year.
It drew the most attendees in its history at the organization's latest conference, about 230, or 260 when spouses were included. And a record number of companies signed up to display their offerings during the Supplier Showcase, held on the last day of the conference. PMA officials said at the meeting.
During the business portion of the meeting, Phil Green of Anderson Development Co. was named president of the PMA for 2014-15, Linda Katz of Molded Dimensions Inc. moved into the vice president/treasurer/secretary slot and Mike Kocak of C.U.E. Inc. became past president.
Next year's conference will be held May 8-10 in Las Vegas.
