REMICH, Luxembourg—CQLT SaarGummi Technologies S.a.r.l. has appointed Stefan Kurtze as its new chief finance officer, effective July 1.
SaarGummi said Kurtze brings extensive operational experience and international automotive industry knowledge. He managed BMW's New Zealand group as CFO from 2007 until 2011 before he managed BMW's Strategic Planning Group's head office in Munich.
“We are glad we have been able to bring aboard such an experienced international manager,” CEO Michael Lorig said in a news release. “Stefan Kurtze brings the expertise and track record of a successful CFO, along with the hands-on business experience of a seasoned operations executive.”
SaarGummi is a global manufacturer of innovative sealing systems featuring high-quality technology for the automotive industry. The firm operates out of 15 locations in Europe, North America, South America and Asia with about 5,000 employees worldwide.
SaarGummi has belonged to the Chinese state-owned corporation CQLT since 2011.
