BEACHWOOD, Ohio—Omnova Solutions Inc. has hired Mark Chrisman as its global vice president for sales and commercial excellence of its Performance Chemicals business unit.
Chrisman brings experience in leadership roles for both sales and global sourcing, most recently serving as vice president, global commodity management at Alcoa Inc. Prior to that, he led worldwide commercial efforts at Chemtura Corp., Ohio Valley Plastic Group, Nova Chemicals, Mozel Inc., Great Lakes Chemical Corp. and Dow Chemical Co.
Omnova is a global provider of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals and functional and decorative surfaces for a variety of end uses, including rubber. It reported 2014 sales of $1 billion and employs 2,300 worldwide.
