ALKMAAR, Netherlands—Eriks N.V. has been awarded a five-year contract from Shell Global Solutions International B.V. to be the primary gasket supplier for all U.S. refineries and offshore installations.
Eriks will begin implementation of the program immediately with full compliance expected by third quarter 2015, the firm said in a news release.

Netherlands-based Eriks employs 8,000 worldwide and reported 2014 sales of about $2.7 billion. It serves more than 200,000 customers through a network of more than 60 companies with 450 branches in 27 countries.
The firm provides mechanical engineering components and related technical and logistics services in five core activities—flow technology; sealing and rubber technology; industrial plastics; power transmission and bearings; and tools, maintenance and safety products.
Eriks is a wholly owned subsidiary of SHV Holdings N.V., a family owned multinational with net sales of $19.7 billion in 2014.
