MUNICH—German chemical company Wacker A.G. has announced a number of changes to its top level management with Chief Financial Officer Joachim Rauhut leaving the company on Oct. 31 to be replaced by Tobias Ohler.
Ohler has been on the executive board of Wacker Chemie A.G. since January 2013. He has degrees in economics, business administration and industrial engineering and joined Wacker in 2005 as head of corporate controlling.
Also, Christian Hartel will join the executive board in November on a three-year contract. Hartel is currently president of Wacker Silicones.
Hartel joined Wacker in 2003, and held various management positions at Wacker Biosolutions and Wacker Silicones.
He became head of raw materials procurement in 2010, before becoming president of Wacker Silicones in May 2012.
