INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers has released its new and revised ARPM Rubber Handbook, MO-1.
The association said the handbook provides a universal language for rubber manufacturers and their customers to express exact requirements and specifications for rubber parts.
ARPM Executive Director Troy Nix said in a news release that the revision took about six months and consisted of more than 18 member companies reviewing every component of the standards.
The association said all ARPM technical standards are reviewed every five years to establish if a revision is required to keep it current and relevant in the marketplace. MO-1 consists of more than 100 technical standards and is available for purchase at the ARPM's website.
The ARPM was established in 2010 and consists of more than 60 rubber business leaders.
