MISSISSAUGA, Ontario—Spaces are filling up fast for the Tire & Rubber Association of Canada's 2015 Tire & Rubber Summit, according to TRAC.
“Driving Sustainability II” is the theme of the biennial summit, scheduled for June 22-23 at the Hilton Mississauga Meadowvale.
“Sustainability continues to be such an important core value for all manufacturers, and the demand for improvement is unceasing,” TRAC said in its publicity for the summit.
The event begins the evening of June 22 with the Chairman's Opening Reception and Dinner, with a keynote speech by storyteller Paul Huschilt, who will speak on humor habits in the workplace.
An all-day meeting follows June 23, with presentations on the outlook for materials, the automotive outlook, regulatory and policy initiatives affecting the Canadian rubber industry, and the outlook for the tire industry as a whole.
The luncheon speaker will be Faith Goodman of the Canadian Fuels Association, who will discuss Canada's National Climate Change Policy.
