HEBRON, Ky.—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers will host a plant tour at Desma USA Inc.'s facility in Hebron on April 23.
ARPM said the event will allow rubber manufacturing executives to examine the production and business operations of Desma USA, learn about the successful implementation of a strong business model revision, understand the importance of work force development options and see how these key elements have transformed the firm's business.
Desma USA has diversified and grown by creating a new business model for the company since the downturn in 2008, ARPM said. The new plan resulted in six revenue streams as opposed to three before 2008, new Desma machinery. By 2014, the firm had doubled its sales.
Members and non-members can register for the event by visiting the ARPM website, or email [email protected]
ARPM is a trade association managed by rubber business leaders and consists of more than 60 members. Established in 2010, the association provides manufacturers with bottom line impacting programs, networking and additional beneficial services.
