MAGOG, Québec—Deere & Co. has awarded Camoplast Solideal Inc. “Partner-level” supplier status for the second straight year, citing the industrial tire and track maker's dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality and because of its commitment to continuous improvement.
Camoplast Solideal, which supplies Deere with agricultural tracks and track systems, said this is the highest supplier rating possible in Deere's Achieving Excellence program.
“Working for a client like John Deere helps us elevate our game,” said Jean-François Ferland, vice president and general manager, agriculture, at Camoplast Solideal. “Simply put, we want to be the best partner for our clients. Being recognized as such is proof that we're on the right track.”
Suppliers that participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness, according to Camoplast Solideal.
John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
