HOUSTON—The fourth annual JEC Americas Composites Show and Conference, to be held June 2-4 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, will focus on innovation and opportunities for the Composites Materials Industry.
For the second straight year, JEC Americas will run concurrently with Techtextil North America show.
“With opportunities to increase their knowledge and networking, we double (an attendee's) chance to make business and connections in markets that are complementary,” says Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group president and CEO.
The three-day program will feature Ron Garan, a former NASA astronaut, social entrepreneur and motivational speaker, as keynote speaker.
More than 30 speakers from around the world will share their developments and thoughts during five conferences organized during JEC Americas. The topics discussed will be composites in pipes and tanks; cost reduction challenges in the carbon fiber industry; aeronautics: mechanical architectures; improving fuel efficiency in the automotive industry; and natural fibers.
