GYONGYOSHALASZ, Hungary—Apollo Tyres Ltd. has begun its recruitment drive in Hungary for its planned greenfield facility at Gyongyoshalasz.
The India-based tire maker said in the first round 100 technicians and fresh graduate engineers will be appointed, followed by a second drive in the second half of 2015 to select 150 additional people.
Apollo said production will start in the beginning of 2017, but the first batch of employees for the Hungarian factory will be contracted in the beginning of July 2015.
The firm is also looking for applications for various functional areas such as administration and logistics.
The firm employs 16,000 worldwide and has manufacturing facilities in India, Southern Africa and The Netherlands.
