SHANGHAI—Dow Corning has appointed Jeroen Bloemhard as its new greater China president.
The executive brings more than 20 years of experience in the silicones industry and will lead the corporate management of the greater China team.
This is Bloemhard's second assignment in China, he previously led the development of Dow Corning's electronics business in the market. He began his career with Dow Corning in Belgium in 1993, relocating to Shanghai in 2003.
Since 2010, the executive has held leadership positions in raw materials procurement and Dow Corning's Xiameter business.
Bloemhard, who previously served as global vice president of sales for the company's Xiameter brand, began his career at Dow Corning in Belgium in 1993 in a marketing role. In 2003, he relocated to Shanghai to build Dow Corning's market position in the electronics industry in greater China.
