BANGKOK—Polish chemical company PCC Rokita S.A. and Thailand's IRPC Polyols Co. Ltd. have set up a joint venture agreement for the sale of polyols and polyurethane systems.
IRPC Polyols will manufacture new products based on technology supplied by PCC Rokita and supply them to the JV.
The partnership targets China, India and Southeast Asia with the range.
According to a statement on IRPC's website, the investment is in line with the firm's “strategy to develop products with high added value.”
Charles Ritchie, marketing and sales director for PCC Rokita, declined to reveal the cost of deal and said it could take a month for it to be formalized.
