SUZHOU, China—Henkel A.G. & Co. KGaA has opened its first Loctite Impregnation Service Center in Asia.
The firm said the center, which is about 10,700 square feet, is located in Suzhou and will service the Asia-Pacific region with its impregnation technology.
The technology seals porosity in many automotive parts, including aluminum die-casting components, engine blocks, cylinder heads, transmission housings, water pumps, compressors, turbochargers, iron casting parts, sintered metals, power metals, electronic components and more.
Henkel said its impregnation system delivers consistent quality and sealing performance, with zero damage and zero distortion.
Henkel employs about 47,000 worldwide and reported sales of about $19.5 million in fiscal 2013. It operates in three business areas—Laundry & Home Care, Beauty Care and Adhesive Technologies.
